What To Expect When You Visit
What time is worship?
We worship every Sunday at 9 a.m. Our services last about one hour. Special services, like Baptism, may run a little longer.
We believe in honoring the living faith of those who have gone before and infusing it with our own energy and life. Our worship emphasizes constant spiritual growth. We practice a more traditional style of worship and celebrate Communion every week.
Informal attire is welcome! Worship at Holy Trinity is not about how you look -- it's about all of us encountering God together.
We believe that it is the Lord's Table we gather around and Jesus is our host. It is not our job to guard the Lord -- he wants to celebrate Communion with everyone and it's our privilege to be a part of his plan. Anyone, adults and children, who has been baptized and believes that Christ is truly present in the bread and wine is welcome to join our celebration of grace.
Children and Families
Children are the future of the church and are always welcome with us in every worship service, activity, or meeting. Worship services often include a Children's Sermon. We believe that God put the wiggle in them, and we celebrate it.
A staffed nursery is available and activity bags. Just ask one of our greeters to point you in the right direction.
During the academic school year, Sunday School is held during the worship service for children ages 4 and up. After the Children's Sermon, young people are dismissed to class for conversation, storytelling, and crafts. They are dismissed shortly before Communion so they can participate with their family.
We are the proud inheritors of an incredibly strong tradition of hymns and song, and celebrate the ongoing creativity of musicians serving the Lord. We use both traditional and modern hymns and songs, always striving for a message that meets us where we are.
Our facilities are completely accessible, and open to all. We incorporate a flexible seating arrangement including cushioned chairs and a few rocking chairs so you are able to worship comfortably.
