What's a Podcast and how does it work?

A podcast is a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player like a tablet, phone or iPod/MP3 player, Many times they are available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.
Our podcast is published weekly. The audio from our sermons is recorded, processed, and loaded into our service called Podbean which makes it available to anyone in the world to either listen to or download directly to their computer, in our case, for free.
Instead of checking back every day to any particular site (Podbean in our case) to see if it's been updated, RSS feeds give users the ability to simply subscribe to the RSS feed, much like you would subscribe to a newspaper, and then read the updates from the site, delivered via RSS feeds, in what's called a "feed reader."
That crazy little orange icon is your key to a world of online content delivered directly to you whenever new content is available.
Wondering how to subscribe? No worries! We've got you covered.
